Gulf Environment FZE is the approved disposal and treatment facility for hydrocarbon waste in Fujairah.

Gulf Environment is a leading environmental recycler of hydrocarbon waste in the Middle East.

Incorporated in the year 2000 under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Saif Al Sharqi, Deputy Ruler of Fujairah, Gulf Environment operates its processing terminal from a 20,000 sq. meter facility inside Fujairah Port.

Fully licensed by local authorities and complaint to Marpol 73/78 Annex 1, we provide hydrocarbon waste collection, refining and disposal services for oil storage tank farms, offshore vessels and vessels calling at berth inside the seaport.

Since we began operations in 2000, Gulf Environment provides a 24/7 collection service and has production capacity for 70,000m3 of slop oils and 36,000 tons of tank bottom sludge per annum.

We have 2 dedicated pipelines from the terminal to main berth 1 inside the seaport to allow ships to discharge slop oils and off spec fuels directly into our 5,000m3 storage facility.

We have a separate arm for cleaning of all onshore tanks and offshore vessels, and we can also provide inspection and maintenance services through our JV partner for onshore storage tank farms.
